Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with strong credentials.
• Active CA Bar membership in good standing.
• Significant experience handling labor and employment litigation for employers.
• Ability to manage litigation from intake through resolution independently.
• Experience taking/defending depositions and court appearances.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a portfolio of 10–20 active employment litigation matters.
• Develop and execute comprehensive case strategies for disputes in state and federal courts.
• Draft, review, and respond to written discovery and subpoenas.
• Conduct document review and analysis for complex litigation.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other trial-related filings.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, and mediations.
• Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions and trial.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to practice growth.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and provide litigation updates.
