Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. seeks an Of Counsel Attorney for its Atlanta Office to advise and defend employers in a broad range of workplace matters, including investigations, state and federal lawsuits, and administrative charges.

You will collaborate with the firm's Litigation group, lead and mentor associates, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment while upholding the firm's commitment to equal opportunity and client service.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 8+ years of employment law experience preferred.
• GA Bar Admission preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, including working with document intensive cases.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to independently produce a quality work product.
• Defense of agency charges of discrimination, lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and advice and counseling involving similar issues.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations and in arbitration in a broad range of employment matters, including discrimination, contract, employment tort and non-compete cases.
• Work as part of a team, especially on larger cases.
