Job summary

Sigma Computing is looking for an experienced employment counsel to provide legal expertise on all aspects of employment law. You'll collaborate with People Operations and leadership in a fast-paced tech environment to manage risk and ensure compliance.

This role requires a Juris Doctor and active law license, along with 5+ years of employment law experience. In addition to competitive salary, the position includes stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience practicing employment law, preferably in a technology or SaaS company.
• Workplace investigation training and experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws such as FLSA, ADA, and FMLA.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on onboarding, performance management, and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and handbooks.
