Telecare Corporation is seeking an Employment Counsel to advise the organization on a wide range of labor and employment matters. The role reports to the General Counsel and collaborates with HR, finance, risk, and leadership to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance.

The attorney will oversee settlements, agency responses, and manage external counsel while contributing to a diverse legal practice within Telecare’s mission-driven environment.

Competenze

• J.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
• California Bar Admission in good standing.
• 5–7 years of experience in employment law (in-house preferred).
• Experience handling wage-and-hour and employment practices matters; supervising others.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and other employment laws.
• Excellent client service and ability to manage complex issues.
• Ability to partner with leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Post-offer medical and other regulatory checks may apply.

Mansioni

• Provide day-to-day employment law counsel to Telecare and related stakeholders.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and respond to agency actions, demand letters, and complaints.
• Supervise attorneys and legal staff, including external counsel as needed.
• Advise on employee benefits plans, contract reviews, and risk mitigation.
