Job summary

Solutus Legal Search is exclusively retained by a multinational client to recruit a Lead Employment Counsel. You will join an experienced legal team advising on broad labor and employment matters across jurisdictions, with a focus on U.S. law.

The role requires a J.D. from a U.S. law school, bar admission, and 6+ years' experience at a respected firm. Competitive base salary with a 30% target annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent from a U.S. law school; bar admission in at least one state.
• 6+ years of relevant employment law experience, preferably at an international law firm.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws; international experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise on employment-related matters across jurisdictions, with emphasis on U.S. law.
• Guide labor relations, including negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements and NDAs.
• Support investigations and compliance reporting with HR.
• Help develop company-wide employment policies and training.
• Identify and mitigate employment law risks with proactive strategies.
