Job summary

Eurofins USA is seeking a Senior Employment Compliance Specialist to lead high‑level employment matters, investigations, and policy guidance. You will partner with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to minimize risk while ensuring lawful, fair, and consistent outcomes across the organization.

You’ll mentor teams, develop training on investigations, wage and hour, and ADA compliance, and drive proactive risk mitigation through policy improvements and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in employee relations, investigations, employment compliance, wage & hour, or ADA matters.
• Experience advising senior leaders with strategic consultation.
• SHRM certification preferred (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR).

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior-level consultant to HR partners and leaders on complex employee relations and compliance.
• Own risk assessment and develop recommendations; present defensible guidance to leadership.
• Analyze federal, state, and local employment laws to support compliant decision-making.
• Lead high‑risk workplace investigations with defined scope and actions.
• Review investigations and guide staff on methodology and reporting.
• Oversee workforce reductions and wage/hour reviews with risk mitigation.
• Provide guidance on ADA compliance, accommodations, and fitness-for-duty.
• Coach and mentor Specialist I/II team members on investigation skills and standards.
• Lead cross‑functional projects and training on employment compliance topics.
