Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations professional to advise and support management and staff on policy interpretation, investigations, and compliance with federal and state laws.

You will guide managers through discipline, assist investigations, coordinate with HR partners, and help recruit and manage employee relations processes while maintaining confidentiality.

This role requires occasional travel and a proactive approach to improving workplace relations across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience plus 3 years in HR/employee relations.
• Working knowledge of employment and wage and hour law.
• Ability to handle confidential information and multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Guide managers on employee relations and disciplinary actions with fairness and precedent.
• Interpret and communicate policies to ensure compliance with laws.
• Assist investigations into harassment or discrimination and summarize findings.
• Support HR in litigation case histories and documentation.
• Partner with operations and HR functions to address issues.
• Assist with recruitment and exit interviews as needed.
• Identify morale concerns and help develop improvement plans.
