Job summary

Graham Company, a division of Marsh McLennan Agency, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm committed to delivering a healthy, safe and prosperous tomorrow. This Account Analyst role will service assigned accounts under Account Managers, eventually handling full account duties for certain clients while contributing to larger accounts.

Minimum five years in Employee Benefits with Life/Health focus, strong client service, data analysis, and license pursuits are expected.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Employee Benefits industry (brokerage or insurance company) with a primary focus on Health Insurance.
• Ability to develop creative, client specific solutions and work within established standards and best practices.
• Be a “team player” and perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment.
• Pursue a program for personal and professional development; and obtain and maintain the required insurance agent’s license.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to set and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work with Employee Benefits Consultants and Producers on marketing of new and renewal business.
• Collect, analyze and interpret data from client benefit plans.
• Develop potential solutions and recommendations.
• Assist in preparation of proposals.
• Present renewal proposals to clients as assigned by Account Manager.
• Handle day-to-day service issues for clients and their employees.
• Research and resolve client benefit claims with discretion.
• Liaison between carriers and clients.
• Document all client service issues in the Agency Management system.
• Maintain client and benefit plan information on employer web portal.
• Attend annual enrollment meetings and client benefit fairs.
