Job summary

SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is seeking a Sr. Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our client’s team in Wayne, PA, with in-office presence 2x per week. This role manages and services a complex benefits portfolio, providing strategic counsel and exceptional client servicing.

You will collaborate with internal service teams and carrier partners, lead renewal strategy, and tailor funding arrangements (fully insured, level-funded, self-funded) while staying current on ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of employee benefits brokerage or consulting experience.
• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License is required.
• Experience serving middle-market and large-group clients.
• Ability to meet in office 2x per week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic contact for a portfolio of middle-market and large-group clients.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive communication.
• Lead annual stewardship and renewal meetings with market insights and cost-containment ideas.
• Assess client objectives and design customized benefits solutions.
• Advise on funding strategies including fully insured, level-funded, and self-funded plans.
• Coordinate with marketing and carrier partners to negotiate favorable terms.
• Lead renewal strategy discussions and implementation from start to finish.
• Stay current on ACA, ERISA, COBRA, 5500 filings, HIPAA and related regulations.
