The Misch Group is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive to manage a complex benefits book and serve as the primary service contact for clients. You will provide consultative guidance, lead renewals, and promote value-added services to enhance profitability while staying current on market conditions and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include coordinating with carriers, updating records, and supporting open enrollment.
Position Overview:
This position manages a complex book of employee benefits business and acts as the primary service contact. The account executive offers a strategic and consultative approach to employee benefits account management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages a complex book of business with varying funding mechanisms, advanced contract features and structures, requiring experience and technical knowledge.
Primary contact between clients and carriers with goals of client retention and growth. Regularly communicates with clients and carrier partners (at least quarterly).
Drives renewal process and can lead client meetings regarding renewals and utilization review.
Introduces new products and promotes them through regular visits and frequent communication with intermediaries. Increases profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible.
Ensures credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors’ products and acts as technical expert.
Supports open enrollment process, including preparation, communications and scheduling (if applicable).
Maintains documentation in accordance with HIPAA and company procedures, including keeping agency management system updated in a timely manner.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Pay Range:
$57,000 - $95,000
Our total rewards package may include other components such as: overtime, incentive, equity and benefits. Salary range is a guideline and is determined by a number of factors including education, experience, skills, internal equity and market conditions.
