Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Senior Engine Test Engineer for a hands-on role in emissions technologies and regulatory product approvals in North Philadelphia, PA. You will own projects end-to-end, lead engine testing efforts, and collaborate with the team to ensure compliance and quality.

The position requires a bachelor’s in engineering (master’s preferred) and 3–5+ years of relevant experience, with strong engine knowledge and customer communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong engine knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Emissions or engine testing experience (CFR 1065/1066/86 a strong plus).
• Horiba MEXA experience helpful; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Execute CFR-compliant emissions and engine performance testing.
• Develop test plans, manage data quality control and analysis.
• Serve as the primary customer contact throughout testing projects.
• Troubleshoot test engines, vehicles, and equipment.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and test-cell technicians.
