Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years in emissions/engine testing and powertrain development.
• Experience with emissions legislation testing or calibration.
• Strong knowledge of combustion engines, emissions systems, and powertrain processes.
• Ability to lead customer-facing projects and mentor teams.
• Willingness to travel 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison to customers.
• Lead commissioning of engine, emissions, powertrain test systems.
• Develop and execute complex test procedures and sequences.
• Evaluate testing data and provide technical recommendations.
• Integrate emissions analyzers, fuel conditioning systems, air handling systems, dynamometers, and auxiliary equipment into complete test cell solutions.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, controls, software, and application-related issues.
• Provide advanced technical training to customers and internal personnel.
• Conduct technical research and support development of new testing methodologies.
• Take ownership of large, complex test systems and drive projects to successful completion.
• Travel as required to support customer projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
