Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. in Salt Lake City, Utah, seeks a Protocol Instructor to deliver Priority Dispatch System Protocol training to students in assigned classes, in person or remotely, and to act as a knowledgeable resource for clients and staff.

The role requires a BA/BS in Business, Leadership, or equivalent, an Emergency Dispatch Instructor certification with 5+ years of experience, strong presentation and customer service skills, and the ability to teach learners with varying computer

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in business/leadership/adult learning.
• Current Emergency Dispatch Instructor certification with 5+ years experience.
• Strong presentation and customer service skills.
• Ability to teach diverse computer skill levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides Priority Dispatch System Protocol instruction meeting IAED and PDC requirements.
• Deliver in-person or remote instruction and assist with software training as needed.
• Prepare and maintain training materials and post-class documentation.
• Serve as a discipline-specific expert for students and client agencies.
• Participate in workshops, conferences, demonstrations to maintain instructor certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
