Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) invites applications for an Emergency Department Technician III. Under RN supervision you perform multi-skilled patient care activities to support a decentralized, patient-centered approach and achieve outcomes.

Minimum training includes a high school diploma, paramedic certification and completion of online modules with phlebotomy, basic and advanced skills, and on-site EKG training. BLS/PALS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certification as Paramedic.
• Pass online course modules, phlebotomy training and skills validation for basic and advanced skills, and EKG training.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN under supervision to perform multi-skilled patient care tasks.
• Support a decentralized, patient-centered approach to care.
• Contribute to achieving desired patient outcomes in the ED.
