Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a Senior EMC & RF Test Technician in Portage, MI to support global regulatory compliance through EMC and RF testing of medical devices. You will operate and maintain lab equipment, develop in-house testing capabilities, and collaborate with engineering teams on test strategies and documentation.

Responsibilities include configuring test setups, documenting results, and traveling to external labs as required to witness compliance testing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years’ experience in electrical, electronics, RF, EMC, or testing environments.
• Working knowledge of electrical circuits and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Perform EMC and RF testing on medical devices to demonstrate compliance with domestic and international standards.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot EMC/RF lab equipment and test instrumentation.
• Configure, build, and verify test setups and support equipment for EMC/RF testing.
• Support development of in-house EMC/RF testing capabilities and improve testing processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop test strategies and execute compliance testing.
• Investigate test failures and document observations with findings for engineering teams.
• Create and maintain test procedures, protocols, and lab documentation per quality system.
• Identify and implement safety, reliability, and data accuracy improvements in the lab.
• Travel to external test labs to witness and support EMC/RF testing as needed.
