Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Engineering Specialist/Senior to provide Electromagnetic Environmental Effects technical support for national space programs. This on-site role in Albuquerque requires a DoD security clearance and willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

You will review contractor EMC analyses, validate designs, and mentor junior engineers across the lifecycle from concept to launch operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related STEM discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of EMC, ESD, and TEMPEST design techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide Electromagnetic Environmental Effects technical support to space programs across lifecycle stages.
• Review contractor EMC analytical and test reports and deliver technical authority guidance.
• Evaluate designs for electromagnetic emissions and susceptibility.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to project leadership.
