Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior EMC Engineer to join the Air Dominance & Strike Electrical Engineering team. You will design, test, and validate EMC/EMI solutions for electronic products and ensure compliance with MIL-STD/FCC/IEC standards.

You will collaborate across engineering disciplines, drive rapid prototyping, verification, and qualification, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. DoD clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• 7+ years EMI/EMC design and testing experience.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464D, RTCA DOD-160, FCC, IEC, CISPR, SAE.
• Expertise in HERO, HEMP, Lightning Protection, ESD, RF exposure limits and operational EMC.
• Ability to read schematics and apply EMC/EMI best practices to PCB layout.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EMI/EMC testing and analysis on electronic systems and components.
• Drive product maturity through rapid prototyping, design verification, and qualification activities.
• Develop and implement design strategies to mitigate EMI/EMC issues.
• Prepare test plans, reports, and documentation for compliance verification.
• Collaborate with product design teams to ensure EMC requirements are integrated during design.
• Identify EMI/EMC risks and define mitigation strategies using modeling, simulation, or experiments.
• Stay updated on MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464D, DOD-160, FCC, CISPR, IEC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct field tests to evaluate product performance in real environments.
