Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks an EMC/EMI Project Engineer to drive hardware development across the full product lifecycle, including requirement capture, electrical design, board layout, and test verification. You will independently manage multiple projects and contribute to risk mitigation within a cross-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Requires DoD Top Secret clearance eligibility.
• Degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Practical circuit board design experience including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience with military aerospace testing standards (DO-160; MIL-STD-461; MIL-STD-704).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop hardware designs meeting requirements and specs.
• Lead circuit card design lifecycle activities including schematic capture, PCB layout, and design documentation.
• Hardware integration with system and software teams.
• Design, document, test, and troubleshoot digital and analog hardware including FPGAs and DDR memory.
• Support qualification testing to ensure compliance with performance and environmental requirements.
