Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine, part of NYU Langone Health, invites applications for a Senior Embryologist (FGP), OB/GYN, IVF. The role focuses on advanced ART procedures and leadership in the embryology laboratory.

Candidates will perform lab duties, ensure QA, maintain records, mentor staff, and participate in research and inspections. A Bachelor's in a relevant science and 3+ years of lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology, clinical or reproductive laboratory science.
• Experience: 3+ years in a clinical laboratory setting performing basic and advanced embryology techniques with experience in in-vitro fertilization.
• Preferred: Embryology Laboratory Scientist (AAB) certification; Masters degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Study and review Embryology Laboratory SOPs and be familiar with QA/QC, safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform basic and advanced ART procedures and quality control independently.
• Maintain records of training, specimens, and results; data entry to EMR/SART/NASS as needed.
• Lead weekends and alarms coverage; mentor less experienced staff.
• Assist in inspections and participate in research projects.
