Job summary

Neros, a defense technology company, designs and manufactures high-performance unmanned systems for rapid field deployment. We seek an experienced software tester focused on embedded systems and HIL to design test suites, build frameworks, and drive CI/CD integration to ensure robust, battle-ready software.

You will contribute to test coverage, document results, and help maintain build stability as products move from design to deployment in months, not years.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing with a focus on embedded systems and HIL testing.
• Hands-on experience building, setting up HIL test systems.
• Strong development skills with a scripting language (e.g. Python) for test automation.
• Familiarity with embedded communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet).
• Experience with CI/CD tools - Gitlab CI, Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Automated Test Development: design, develop, and maintain test suites for drone & ground control software.
• Test Framework Development: build and enhance automated testing frameworks and tools.
• CI/CD Integration: integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Ensure Build Stability: monitor test results and ensure build stability before releases.
• Quality Assurance: maintain high-quality software with thorough test coverage and best practices.
• Documentation: create and maintain documentation related to test cases, plans, and results.
