Job summary

Detroit Engineered Products seeks a Senior Software Integration Engineer to plan and execute integration and verification across Linux-based embedded systems in combat vehicles. You will test hardware and software, working with CAN/Ethernet networks, and contribute to cybersecurity hardening.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure engineering standards are met, and deliver validated software aligned with customer and program requirements. Some travel to customer sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of software integration experience.
• Experience integrating software on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Packaging software as RPMs and binaries.
• Experience with drivers, shared objects, and static libraries.

Responsibilities

• Integrates and tests software on RHEL and hardware on combat vehicle systems.
• Testbed setup for software and hardware integration.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to investigate issues and data.
• Mentor engineers in integration and troubleshooting.
