TRC Talent Solutions' client seeks a Senior Integration & Test Engineer in Fremont, CA. The role focuses on hands-on integration, system testing, and lab coordination for rugged embedded computing systems used in defense applications.

Responsibilities include leading daily lab execution, mentoring technicians, and coordinating test schedules while ensuring robust OS, firmware, and network/testing environments. 8–12 years in embedded HW/SW is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in embedded hardware/software integration and testing.
• Hands-on hardware diagnostics and software validation experience.
• Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, or Linux Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with iPerf, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on system integration and testing of embedded computer systems and chassis.
• Configure OSs (Windows/Linux), drivers, networking, and diagnostic software.
• Lead root-cause analysis across prototypes, production, and field returns.
• Develop scripts and test suites to improve lab efficiency and repeatability.
