Based in Billerica, MA, this on-site role focuses on software architecture, firmware development, and cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate will own major embedded software initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and drive Agile practices across

Qualifications

8+ years embedded software development experience.
Advanced proficiency in C/C++ programming.
Strong experience with embedded operating systems and RTOS concepts.
Experience with board bring-up, BSPs, HALs, and low-level drivers.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining embedded firmware/software for industrial measurement products.
Translating requirements into robust software architectures and designs.
Collaborating with hardware, FPGA, systems, and test engineering during the product lifecycle.
Driving HW-SW integration, validation, performance optimization, debugging, and root-cause analyses from prototype to production.
Participating in design reviews and code reviews to ensure software quality.
Developing and executing software verification strategies (unit/integration/system tests).
Mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices in the team.
Promoting Agile practices, sprint planning, estimation, and continuous improvement.
