Panametrics Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to provide technical leadership in embedded systems, real-time software, and signal processing for ultrasonic flow measurement platforms.

This hands-on role focuses on architecture, firmware, and hardware/software integration in an on-site setting in Billerica, MA. You will drive software verification, mentoring, and Agile practices while shaping product portfolios across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in C/C++ programming and real-time software development.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-A/R/M architectures and heterogeneous hardware/software systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded firmware and software for industrial measurement products.
• Translate system requirements into robust software architectures and designs.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, systems, and test engineers across the lifecycle.
• Drive hardware-software integration, validation, debugging, and root-cause analysis from prototype to production.
• Participate in design reviews and peer code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote software development best practices.
