Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Software Engineer Embedded Systems II in the United States. You will own design, development, and optimization of embedded software, drivers, and low-level platform features for mission-critical systems.

Collaborate across engineering teams and implement robust test automation and diagnostics using Python in modern CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities include diagnosing platform issues, optimizing memory and CPU usage, and supporting production triage to ensure product

Qualifications

• Master's/Bachelor's in CS/CE/EE or related field, with related work experience.
• Strong C/C++ and embedded Linux/RTOS experience.
• Understanding of OS concepts, multithreading and memory management.
• Familiar with Linux toolchain, debugging (GDB/Valgrind) and Git.
