Cisco is hiring a Software Engineer Embedded Systems II to design, develop and optimize high-performance embedded software and firmware. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to build drivers, kernel components, and hardware interfaces powering mission-critical platforms and connected systems.

You’ll architect robust test automation using Python and modern CI/CD pipelines, diagnose complex platform issues, and push performance optimizations across memory and CPU.

Qualificações

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ with embedded Linux/RTOS experience.
• Familiarity with Linux workflows, debugging tools, and Git.
• Understanding of OS concepts, multithreading and memory management.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and optimize embedded software and firmware.
• Build device drivers, kernel components and hardware interfaces.
• Develop system-level test automation and diagnostics with Python and CI/CD.
• Diagnose platform issues and optimize memory/CPU performance.
• Deliver resilient embedded software across the software lifecycle.
