Cisco seeks a Software Engineer Embedded Systems II to design, develop, and optimize high-performance embedded software, firmware, and low-level platform features. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to build resilient device drivers, kernel components, and hardware-software interfaces powering mission-critical platforms.

You will apply systems programming expertise to diagnose issues, optimize memory and CPU performance, and support production triage.

Qualificações

• Master's degree or higher in CS/CE or related field.
• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of work experience or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded Linux/RTOS.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance embedded software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build device drivers and kernel components.
• Architect and implement system-level test automation using Python and CI/CD pipelines.
• Diagnose platform-level issues, optimize memory and CPU performance.
