Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop and maintain engine control and energy electronics software. You will design, code, test, and debug in C/C++, support MATLAB/Simulink model-based development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded software for automotive/energy electronics, strong CAN/J1939 knowledge, and a solid understanding of RTOS and software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years embedded software development experience in automotive/industrial/energy electronics.
• Strong knowledge of CAN/J1939 protocols and real-time software concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain embedded software for engine control and energy electronics.
• Design, code, integrate, test, and debug embedded systems in C/C++.
• Support MATLAB/Simulink model-based development.
• Analyze software requirements and translate to functional solutions.
• Perform software validation, verification, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
