Job summary

HP IQ is HP’s new AI innovation lab. The Senior System Software Engineer will contribute to embedded software across hardware platforms, designing and implementing low-level drivers and device-focused infrastructure.

You will work in a world-class team on architecture, debugging at the hardware-software interface, and performance optimization for power efficiency, within HP’s scale and support structure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in system software engineering and embedded platform.
• Experience in at least one of the following programming languages: C++ or C.
• Strong background in systems design and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for system design and architecture
• Develop low-level driver and framework software in C and C++
• Develop device-focused infrastructure software in Python
• Debug issues at the interface between hardware and software

• Collaborate in the software engineering process with documentation, testing, and code review
