Johnson Controls has a premier opportunity for a Senior Software Test Engineer in New Freedom, PA. You will lead testing efforts for embedded systems, develop automated tests, and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure top-quality products.

Candidates should have strong C/C++ and Python skills, hands-on hardware testing experience, and a track record in embedded software testing. Relocation or commuting distance to New Freedom is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS or EE.
• 2+ years in software development and testing.
• 1+ year in manual testing, preferably automated.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python.
• Experience with embedded systems testing.
• US citizenship or permanent residency; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of test plans for embedded software.
• Design and maintain automated and manual test frameworks.
• Collaborate with software teams to ensure testability.
• Review designs and requirements early in the development cycle.
• Analyze results, report defects, and drive improvements.
• Mentor team members and contribute to process improvements.
