The Ash Group is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for a 12-month contract in Sterling Heights, MI. You will integrate and test software on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and hardware for a combat vehicle system, while mentoring junior engineers.

Candidates should have a BS in STEM and 4+ years of embedded real-time software experience, with Ethernet/CAN knowledge and CM tools like Git and Jira/GitLab. Travel to customer sites and security clearance are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 4+ years of embedded real-time software integration experience.
• Experience packaging RPMs and binaries on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience in software integration and testing on RHEL OS.
• Ability to build and maintain an integration testbed (hardware/ software).
• Understanding of Ethernet and CAN bus protocols.
• Familiar with Git and Jira/GitLab CM tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to customer sites.
• Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
