Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Seven years of professional engineering experience.
• Five years in system architectures for software/hardware systems.
• Strong real-time embedded systems architecture, RTOS, embedded Linux, and hardware-software co-design.
• Functional safety, cybersecurity standards, secure boot, and edge-to-cloud telemetry.
• Experience guiding teams in automated CI/CD, static analysis, and HIL/SIL testing.
• Leadership in software talent acquisition, coaching, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unified embedded software architectures across product lines, ensuring hardware decoupling.
• Guide firmware and control design using RTOS and low-level drivers; define middleware and protocols.
• Ensure safety-critical standards compliance, secure boot, memory partitioning, and OTA updates.
• Collaborate across Electrical, Mechanical, and Systems Engineering for MCU/SoC selection.
• Direct data flows between edge controllers, telemetry systems, and enterprise clouds for analytics.
• Promote modern embedded DevOps, CI/CD, static analysis, and HIL/SIL validation.
• Maintain Agile/Scrum practices for embedded release cycles, sprint planning, and backlog tracking.
• Establish engineering KPIs and drive continuous improvement; handle hiring, coaching, budgeting.
