Job summary

The role focuses on transitioning the embedded application to new platforms, improving maintainability, and supporting roadmaps and high-priority customer requests. You will collaborate with onsite and offsite teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field of study.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience with software configuration management & control tools.
• Ability to debug and resolve complex problems in multi-threaded and concurrent applications.
• 3+ years’ experience with embedded systems and architectures.
• 3+ years programming in C and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Follow software engineering principles and best practices across all phases of commercial development and engineering product release practices.
• Lead and contribute to product requirement and design reviews.
• Communicate task and project status to the team and engineering management.
• Solve technical problems and challenges in an innovative manner with minimal supervision.
• Interact with and consult colleagues while resolving technical problems.
• Communicate clearly with both internal and external customers and partners.
• Respond to requests, issues, e-mails or other events in a timely and flexible fashion.
• Mentor new employees and Junior Software engineers.
