Job summary
MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group in Bloomington, MN seeks a Senior Software Engineer to drive embedded firmware, desktop and mobile application development, and new-product engineering. You will transform early concepts into production-ready solutions while guiding other engineers and supporting products through the full software lifecycle.
You will lead technical decisions, mentor staff, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in embedded firmware and mobile/desktop app development.
- Full software lifecycle experience from concept to post-launch support.
- Experience leading new-product development initiatives.
- Strong experience with UWP and Microsoft technologies.
- Proficient in Visual C++, C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET.
- Able to develop/test apps for Android and iOS platforms.
- Excellent English communication and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead software development for connected tools and products.
- Provide technical leadership on complex projects from concept to production.
- Break down initiatives into milestones and deliverables.
- Mentor engineers and support hiring and performance reviews.
- Translate concepts into production-ready software and docs.
- Develop embedded firmware and desktop/mobile applications.
- Support Android/iOS app development and testing.
- Define specs for new-product initiatives and test plans.
