Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 8+ years in embedded firmware and mobile/desktop app development.
• Experience across full software lifecycle.
• Experience with UWP and Microsoft technologies.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development of connected tools and products.
• Provide technical leadership on complex projects from concept to production.
• Break down initiatives into milestones and deliverables.
• Mentor engineers and resolve challenges.
• Translate product concepts into production-ready software and documentation.
• Develop embedded firmware and desktop/mobile apps.
• Support Android and iOS app development and testing.
• Define software specifications for new-product initiatives.
• Develop test plans and perform validation.
• Support new-product development activities and production launches.
• Provide troubleshooting and production-line support.
• Maintain production documentation.
• Evaluate progress, risks and readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support onboarding and development of direct-report engineers.
