Actalent is hiring a Senior Software Test Engineer in Golden Valley, MN, to lead verification, validation, and quality for embedded software and autonomous robotic systems. You will develop automated test frameworks, HIL platforms, and C# test scripts, partnering across software, controls, electrical, and test teams.

The role emphasizes test strategy, automation, and integration into CI/CD pipelines, with a hybrid work model in Minnesota.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, Robotics or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, verification, integration, or embedded systems.
• Experience developing HIL platforms, simulation environments, fault‑injection frameworks, and CI/CD‑integrated test solutions.
• Strong C# programming, scripting, and debugging skills.
• Experience testing embedded software and integrated hardware/software systems.
• Experience with CAN/CANopen communications, diagnostics, and validation.
• Hands‑on experience building, wiring, and debugging test fixtures for electromechanical systems.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, and Bitbucket.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute test strategies for functionality, performance, reliability, and fault handling.
• Create test cases from requirements, stories, and defects with traceability.
• Identify coverage gaps and improve testability, diagnostics, safety, and robustness.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, HIL platforms, harnesses and tools.
• Develop C# automated test scripts for embedded controllers and robot behaviors.
• Implement fault‑injection, negative testing, and resilience validation.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
• Execute manual and automated testing across software releases and configurations.
• Analyze results, debug failures, and document defects.
• Establish quality metrics, regression coverage, and release readiness.
• Present testing results and quality recommendations to engineering teams.
