MaxIT Consulting -- Max Corporate Group seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for connected products in Bloomington, MN. Role blends embedded firmware, desktop and mobile apps, and leadership across the product lifecycle.

You will guide concepts to production-ready solutions, mentor engineers, define software specifications, and support testing, validation, and production launches. This onsite role offers broad cross-functional exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field.
8+ years of embedded firmware and mobile/desktop app development experience.
Strong understanding of embedded systems and production-oriented software.
Experience with full software product lifecycle from concept to post-launch.
Experience with UWP and Microsoft-based technologies.
Proficiency in Visual C++ and C#.
Experience with VB.NET and ASP.NET.
Android and iOS application development experience.
Translate technical concepts for stakeholders; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

Lead the software and technical development of connected tools and products.
Provide technical leadership on complex projects from concept through production.
Own project-level goals and milestones with multiple engineers.
Mentor engineers and resolve complex technical challenges.
Translate concepts into production-ready software and docs.
Develop and maintain embedded firmware and desktop/mobile apps.
Define software specs for new-product initiatives.
Develop test plans and perform validation throughout lifecycle.
Support new-product development activities and production launches.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders; manage priorities.
