Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in embedded software design.
• Advanced experience with microcontrollers and access libraries.
• Ability to program in Windows and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python is a plus.
• Experience with optimization techniques (speed, memory, multi-threading).
• Knowledge of version control tools (Git, Mercurial).
• Experience with Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of secure development lifecycle is preferred.
• Fluency in mathematics (linear algebra and trigonometry).
• Experience with UML is an asset.
• Have contributed to development of commercially successful products.
• Knowledge of test and measurement applications.
• Intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software and firmware for test and measurement products.
• Contribute to product backlog and sprint planning.
• Define secure architecture and CI/CD with DevOps.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity champion to design security controls.
• Perform code reviews and participate in daily scrums.
• Verify design against Definition of Done with automated tests.
• Support production transfer with engineering tools.
