Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) is hiring a Device Software Development Engineer to design and implement embedded software for satellite and ground systems. Qualifications

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one programming language.
Experience mentoring, tech lead roles, or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for satellite and ground terminal systems.
Leverage Embedded Linux and RTOS frameworks to build scalable, high-performance software.
Implement data processing, device control, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
Debug hardware-software integration issues using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability.
Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and uphold high quality standards.
