Job summary

Innoflight is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer – RUST to design and develop cyber-secure embedded software for satellite avionics and payload data processing systems. You will work with systems, hardware, and FPGA teams to deliver secure, rugged solutions and mentor junior engineers.

You will lead development of Embedded Linux and real-time interfaces, implement secure networking protocols, and ensure high-quality software across multi-core architectures in an aerospace context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 9+ years of experience in secure embedded systems and software.
• Proficiency in Rust and C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with RTOS and real-time constraints.
• Familiarity with network/security protocols and cryptographic principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cyber secure embedded software for multi-core processors with FPGA integration.
• Lead development of Embedded Linux solutions and inter-process/multi-core communication.
• Implement high-speed networking and security protocols (IP, TLS, IPsec).
• Mentor junior engineers and drive architecture, design reviews, and code quality.
