Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the software lifecycle from requirements analysis to integration and delivery. Proficiency in C/C++, RTOS, and embedded software is required; travel up to 5%.

Candidate will develop, test, and debug software, ensure standards, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. US citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance are required.

Qualifications

Experience with programming languages such as C, C++.
Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience.
Experience doing low level embedded software development including BSP, device drivers, bootloaders.
Familiarity with hardware interfaces, bus protocols, and analog/digital signaling.
Experience troubleshooting skills for tough technical challenges.

Responsibilities

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software for business/mission problems.
Applies standards, processes, and tools across the development life cycle.
Ensures software standards are met and supports to formal test/delivery.
