Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 10+ years embedded software experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years engineering experience.
• In-depth knowledge of embedded systems architecture, design considerations, and hardware-software integration.
• Industry experience writing C/C++ for embedded platforms.
• Strong understanding of embedded testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
• Effective communication skills; capable of explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to lead tasks, coordinate resources, and work independently with minimal guidance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multithreaded embedded software using C and C++ on RTOS and Embedded Linux.
• Develop robust communication interfaces for CAN, EtherNET/IP, HTTP, MQTT, and WebSocket.
• Develop software for embedded graphical displays.
• Create and refine automated test setups, frameworks, and methods for unit and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in development and production environments; propose long-term solutions.
• Read and interpret schematics and component data sheets.
• Lead projects or parts of projects; provide technical direction to junior engineers.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to support project execution.
• Maintain technical documentation, milestone plans, and project tracking artifacts.
• Interact with product owners and stakeholders to influence requirements and innovation.
• Work with minimal guidance; take ownership of deliverables within scope.
• Assume additional responsibilities as needed to support company strategy.
