Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA, seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to contribute across requirements, implementation, test, and operations for flight-critical systems. Qualifications

• Experience designing or architecting scalable systems (3+ years).
• Experience with modern languages including Python, Java, C++, C#, or Ruby (3+ years).
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD build pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in assembly, C, C++, or other languages in a real-time operating system environment.
• Write software to interact with devices/electronics using I2C, SPI, RS-422, RS-485, Ethernet, etc. communications.
• Write device drivers and system applications for flight code and flight management.
• Work closely with hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration testing.
