Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Sr. Associate I, Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate embedded software for medical devices in an RTOS environment.

You will work with C++/C on microcontrollers, perform debugging with lab tools, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards across global operations. The role is onsite at our Lake Forest, CA office, within the Information Technology function, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, effective solutions for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Design and implement software solutions based on requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality code standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions.
