Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to lead end-to-end RF circuit design for aerospace and defense systems. You will drive architecture decisions, prototype, test, and validate high‑reliability RF hardware in a cross‑functional team in El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant RF experience
• Hands-on RF test equipment experience (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters)
• Strong RF fundamentals: gain, noise figure, linearity, phase noise, impedance matching
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, prototype, and tune RF circuits with MMICs (LNAs, PAs, filters, mixers)
• Trade studies to meet system RF performance
• Plan and execute RF testing from board to system level
• Contribute to RF test fixtures, automation, and production support
• Collaborate with systems, power, digital, mechanical, and software teams
• Support simulations (HFSS, ADS, AWR) and RF PCB layout (Altium)
