Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA in Palo Alto is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the vehicle access authentication path and the customer-facing vehicle functions built on top of it, spanning Digital Key and Key Card credentials.

You will drive this stack from architecture through bring-up and post-launch support, collaborating with wireless and embedded teams, using AI-assisted development tools while upholding automotive safety and coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of embedded software experience.
• Proficiency in Embedded C programming.
• Strong Python scripting and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own components of the vehicle access path and related functions.
• Architect and develop embedded software for Vehicle Access ECUs and real-time platforms.
• Design and maintain Digital Key functionality per CCC standards.
• Develop software for Bluetooth, UWB, NFC, and RF communications.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, validation, cybersecurity, and mobile teams.
