Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to own the vehicle access authentication path and customer-facing vehicle functions built on top of it. You will drive the stack from architecture through vehicle bring-up, collaborating with wireless and embedded teams across Bluetooth, UWB, NFC, and RF.

The role requires 8+ years in embedded software, strong C and Python skills, and experience with CCC standards and automotive ECUs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of professional experience developing embedded software.
Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming.
Strong Python scripting and automation experience.
Experience with vehicle access systems or related automotive technologies.
Knowledge of CCC standards and wireless architectures (BT/UWB/NFC).
Understanding of MISRA and safety-critical software processes.

Responsibilities

Own implementation of vehicle access components (transaction authorization, lock/unlock, start authorization, remote functions).
Architect and develop embedded software for Vehicle Access ECUs and real-time platforms.
Design Digital Key and Key Card authentication flows per CCC standards.
Develop software for Bluetooth, UWB, NFC, and RF communication.
Collaborate with systems, hardware, validation, cybersecurity, and mobile teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Write embedded C and use Python for automation, testing, and validation.
Define interfaces between vehicle systems and external devices.
