Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX seeks an experienced Software Developer to join the EATS team, working on next-generation fire control software for a critical tactical weapon system. You’ll design, develop, and integrate embedded and test software bridging hardware and software across a real-time platform.

Qualifications

• STEM degree or equivalent experience.
• Three (or more) years of relevant industry experience.
• Professional software development experience beyond college coursework (internships, co-ops, or full-time roles).
• Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python for embedded systems, test automation, or application development.
• Demonstrated experience working with hardware systems: reading schematics, interfacing with test equipment, debugging hardware/software integration issues, or developing drivers/firmware.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) and software configuration management practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
