Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science (or related field with significant software development experience).
• Experience with embedded development using a real-time operating system (RTOS).
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex embedded software systems/programs.
• Process Improvement and Affordability experience.
• Software engineering management or team lead experience including task planning, budget management and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop team members; assign work, provide continual feedback, and advocate for career opportunities.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute software-development activities.
• Manage recruitment, selection, training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and competency development.
• Support program development, ensure compliance with engineering processes, maintain customer focus, and serve as the technical conscience for programs.
