The role focuses on developing and integrating software for real-time embedded systems across aerospace and defense programs. You will work on real-time embedded software, hardware-in-the-loop environments, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in a large global defense contractor setting.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance with investigation in last 5 years.
• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• HWIL experience with real-time embedded systems (hardware/software).
• Proficiency in C/C++ (version 11 or higher).
• Proficiency in Linux systems and RTOS environments.
• Experience integrating hardware and software.
• Experience in real-time software generation and hardware testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop Embedded Software in C/C++ (version 11+) for real-time systems.
• Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications.
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
• Design, document, test, and debug software solving mission problems.
• Apply hardware and software knowledge to develop effective solutions.
• Identify and correct program errors and document development actions.
